DAY 1: Introduction to Graphic Design
This unit covers the definition of graphic design, the designer's notebook, basic design forms, composition, photography and presents the first part of an interview with Professor Helmy El-Touni.
Day 2: Concepts in Graphic Design
In this unit you will learn about proportion, grid, unity, pattern and rhythm and view the second part of an interview with Professor Helmy El-Touni.
Day 3: Introduction to Design Software
Learn the difference between vector and raster, an introduction to Photoshop and its tools, an introduction to Illustrator and InDesign, in addition to an introduction to animation and its techniques, cut-out technology, and stop motion technology.
Day 4: Writing Styles in Graphic Design
This unit covers the development of letters, signs, marks, colour, contrast and the third part of an interview with Professor Helmy El-Touni.
Day 5: Types of Fonts in Graphic Design
This unit talks about Arabic calligraphy, Arabic typography, and Latin typography, and presents the first part of an interview with the head of the Egyptian Calligraphers Syndicate, Khadir Al-Borsaidi.
Day 6: Graphic Design Tools
This unit explains the development of typography, perspective, animation and completes the interview with Professor Helmy El-Tou
Introduction to Graphic Design that will introduce us to the importance of graphic design and its main role in our current era, the goals of graphic design and the reasons for its use, in addition to the types of graphic design, basic design forms, the most famous and most widely used design programs, and general advice in graphic design for beginners in this field, whether students or new graduates entering the world of work.
The first question that comes to mind may be what is graphic design? Or what is also called the art of visual or visual communications, which is a creative approach through which the designer, based on the request of the client or customer, produces a specific work with the aim of conveying a specific message to the target audience represented by a group of symbols, words, images or drawings that may be embodied in a printed advertisement in a newspaper or a digital advertisement published on an advertising website or other
